1. Private single-user service
Sole Trader Receipt Copilot is a private accounting workflow operated by Volodymyr Nesin as a UK sole trader for the operator’s own QuickBooks company. It is not offered to the public, is not listed in the QuickBooks App Store and is not authorised to access Superstrata’s accounting company.
2. Authorised use
Only the authorised operator may use the service, and only with a QuickBooks company the operator is authorised to access. A different person’s or legal entity’s QuickBooks company must not be connected to this deployment.
3. QuickBooks connection
The service uses Intuit OAuth. Initial production commissioning is read-only and may retrieve accounting information required to verify identity, reports and workflow behaviour. Production accounting writes and payment initiation are disabled. Any future write capability requires separate commissioning, exact preview, explicit approval, idempotency protection and provider read-back.
Intuit’s terms also apply to the operator’s use of QuickBooks Online.
4. Review responsibility
Retrieved, extracted or proposed information may be incomplete or wrong. Supplier, customer, amount, date, tax treatment, account and supporting evidence must be reviewed before reliance or any separately authorised accounting write. A proposal is not an accounting entry.
5. No professional advice or money movement
The service is an experimental workflow tool. It does not provide tax, legal, lending, investment or insurance advice and does not initiate payments. Qualified advice should be obtained where appropriate.
6. Security and availability
The operator must protect connected devices and accounts, maintain accurate QuickBooks permissions and report suspected compromise. The service may be suspended for maintenance, security, compliance or recovery. No uninterrupted-availability commitment is made.
7. Data and third-party services
The operator retains rights in source documents and accounting records. Intuit, QuickBooks Online, Amazon Web Services and other technical providers remain subject to their own terms. Superstrata provides hosting infrastructure only and has no ownership of, or accounting authority over, the sole-trader books.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The operator remains responsible for reviewing accounting records, tax treatment and statutory submissions before relying on service output.
9. Termination
The private service may be stopped at any time. On termination, QuickBooks access will be revoked and retained data handled in accordance with the privacy notice and applicable law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
